Top 10 Celebrity Wedding Dresses of 2009
Ah, we all love those top 10 lists don’t we? Well today I am giving you the top 10 celebrity wedding dresses of all time. There are the most extravagant and beautiful wedding dresses ever photographed, or at least that is what I would like to think.
This list is not set in stone, and I will update it as I find celebrity wedding dress photos that deserve a place.
Many of these dresses cost several tens of thousands of dollars, so feel free in joining me in dreaming about how these would fit you for your wedding. Of course, do these celebrities actually pay for these dresses? That is a question I would like to have an answer to.
Ok, let’s get on with the list.
1. Heidi Montag
One of the hot stars of the MTV reality show The Hills got married to Spencer Pratt in the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Pasadena on April 25 2009. The Heidi Montag wedding dress was made by Monique Lhuillier and is estimated to have cost $20.000. Ai likes it a lot!
2. Milla Jovovich
Milla Jovovich was married to director Paul Anderson on August 22 2009. The wedding took place outdoors, at their home in Beverly Hills, California. The Milla Jovovich wedding dress was actually made by none other than….Milla Jovovich. Yes, she created her own dress, which had a 60’s inspired look.
3. Rhea Durham
Mark Walhbergs and his long time girlfriend got married on August 1 (another summer wedding). The strapless Rhea Durham wedding dress was made by Marchesa
4. Coleen McLoughlin / Coleen Rooney
Sorry guys, ain’t got a picture of this dress, but there are tons of them on the Internet. The dress was priced at a wopping £100.000 and is spectacular. I will see if I can get a hold of a picture legally
5. Beyonce
Ok, ok, ok, this wasn’t for a wedding, but at the 2009 BET Awards she wore a pretty peculiar wedding dress. Not sure who made it, leave a comment if you know.
This ends part one of the Top 10 Celebrity Wedding Dresses of 2009. As you might have noticed, I don’t have pictures of all the wedding dresses as of now. I truly believe in following copyright laws, because if I don’t my web site might be shut down. LOL, not the most idealistic reasons to follow the law, but it keeps me on the right track.
So bare with me until I can hunt down the missing pictures from a free source, or find a royalty source that doesn’t charge a leg and an arm. As an example, a photo of the Ivanka Wedding dress, which by the way is beautiful and will probably rank on top of the list as soon as I get it in, would cost me $15 a month to have on this site. One picture, of the Ivanka dress, mind you. That is simply to expensive for me.
